We are CARES JB

Founded in 2001, CaresJB stands for Companion Animal Rescue Effort Society, Johor Bahru.

 

​We are a public non-profit organisation (NGO) animal shelter located in Lima Kedai, Gelang Patah, caring for about 350+ animals.

Our missions

We rescue and care for abandoned, homeless and abused dogs and cats.

 

We also educate and encourage pet owners to be responsible towards their pets, to prevent the severe stray population.

Our shelter relies on kindness and generosity, so we can continue our work with the animals.

 

Donations (either one-off, or regular monthly amount), no matter how small, can make a major difference to the animals in our shelter.

We also cannot afford enough workers and are always looking for volunteers to come and help feed and care for the animals. Join us to help improve the lives of abandoned animals in JB.
